Advertising and daily visit rewards

Updated 12 October 2026. Google advertising is being prepared but is not active. Current voluntary KoalaTech and TheFatCaps promotions remain hosted locally and do not use Google's advertising cookies. Your existing analytics choice does not authorise advertising.

Before activation, a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) will provide separate accept, reject and customisation options. Google ads will remain blocked if consent is absent, invalid or withdrawn. Playing and daily visit rewards do not require accepting advertising. Our initial integration is limited to non-personalised ads; those also require the relevant device-storage consent.

If you later consent, Google may process IP address, browser/device information and ad delivery and measurement data, and use cookies or similar storage under its policies. The CMP will identify vendors, purposes and retention information. We do not send your email, chat messages, quiz answers or private league data to ad requests. You can reopen advertising preferences from Privacy preferences. Activation requires publishing the CMP vendor information and verifying withdrawal before any live ad requests. Google's use of partner-site data.

Full-screen ads are reserved for natural breaks outside gameplay. They will not interrupt Battles, song submissions, voting, quizzes or chat. Rewarded promotions are voluntary and disclose their reward before starting; a timer or closing a Google ad will not by itself grant Beats.

Every five consecutive calendar days of authenticated visits earns 5 Beats. Days use Europe/Madrid time. Multiple visits on one day count once; missing a day resets the streak. A continuous streak can earn another reward every five days. Beats have no cash value and are not transferable. There is no retrospective credit before launch.

For this requested game feature we retain only the account identifier, last visit date and current streak, not a detailed browsing history. Access is server-only and the streak record is deleted with the account. The reward is recorded in the existing Beats ledger for balance integrity and is separate from optional analytics.

Terms of use

Track Battle is intended for people aged 14 or older. Each person is responsible for the content they publish and must respect the other members of their leagues.

Chat is group-only within each league. It does not offer private messages or support images, videos, audio, files or attachments.

Player search uses the @username. You can send a direct challenge without being Colabs. Accepting a Colab unlocks more game statistics and allows Battle invitations, but does not enable private messages.

Community and chat rules

Harassment, threats, discrimination, inappropriate sexual content, impersonation, spam and publishing other people’s personal information are not allowed. Users can block another person and report messages without notifying the author. League administrators and Track Battle moderators can review reports and remove messages.

Blocking hides that person’s visible and future messages from the person who blocked them. It does not change results, rankings or the competition’s history.

Globally blocking a player cancels the Colab and pending direct interactions. It prevents both accounts from finding each other in player search or sending new requests, direct challenges or invitations. It does not remove completed results.

You can also report a profile confidentially even if you do not share a league. These reports go to Track Battle moderation and do not notify the reported player.

Privacy and retention

We store the data needed for accounts, leagues, competition, playlists, group chat, Colabs, invitations, blocks and reports. Chat does not store cover images or files.

Administrators consult aggregated metrics of server-confirmed actions to manage the competition. With your permission, optional tutorial events, export generation and sharing attempts are also recorded against an account identifier, without message content, quiz answers, emails, dates of birth or links. These events are retained for up to 90 days and are not accessible to other players. External advertising trackers and public website visitor tracking have not been activated.

Before accepting a Colab, another player only receives the minimum information needed to recognise the account: display name, @username and avatar. Game summaries are shown only to accepted Colabs or members of a shared league. Player search does not expose email addresses, song histories or private leagues.

Deleting an account removes profile data and future turns. Actions needed to preserve results are dissociated from the account. Messages that were not deleted may be retained anonymously to preserve conversations and moderation context.

A deleted message’s text disappears immediately; its technical record is purged after 30 days. Resolved reports are removed after 180 days, while pending reports are kept until review.

Battle invitations expire after 14 days. Rejected or cancelled requests are deleted, and completed invitations are purged periodically. You can remove a Colab or block a player from their profile.

Cookies and device storage

Track Battle uses local and session storage, as well as the installed app’s cache. The Supabase session keeps you signed in. Drafts, in-progress games and question history help prevent lost progress and repeated questions. Tutorial and installation preferences support the functions you requested. Rejecting non-essential options does not disable these functions.

Your privacy choice is stored under trackbattle:privacy:v1 for up to 180 days, without an advertising identifier. You can change or withdraw your permission through “Privacy preferences” in the footer or in Settings. If your browser cannot save the choice, it is remembered only for the current visit.

Optional client-side metrics are disabled until you accept them. Track Battle does not load embedded players or videos. Listening links open Spotify only when you click them. Catalogue selections and manually added songs only include Spotify links.

Optional rewarded promotions only show images hosted by Track Battle for KoalaTech and TheFatCaps. They do not install advertising cookies or connect to external ad networks. Watching a promotion grants 1 Beat, validated by the server. Rejecting non-essential options does not prevent watching a promotion or playing.

Google sign-in buttons may connect to Google for authentication. Cover images may come from their providers and reveal technical connection data to them; they are not used here for advertising tracking. If we later introduce ad networks or new analytics tools, we will review this policy and request the relevant consent before loading them.
